Worship is the heartbeat of our life together as God’s beloved! We offer two worship celebrations:

Sundays @ 11: This worship celebration a blended style of traditional and contemporary elements of Christian worship. Our music includes ancient hymns with timeless messages and contemporary songs with current meaning. Worship includes time for prayerful meditation, a sermon from our Pastor with wisdom for the spiritual journey, a message for children, and opportunities to offer our gifts to God and celebrate communion at God’s welcome table. This celebration generally lasts 60-75 minutes. Dress is as diverse as our congregation, from jeans to suits and everything in between.

Worship Leaders (greeters, ushers, communion servers and acolytes) may sign-up to participate prior to worship and be present in the Chapel at 10:50 for prayer. We offer training for all worship volunteers throughout the year.

The church offers a nursery and Children’s Church during the Sunday worship hour. Trained adult volunteers are present to provide meaningful Christian education in this ministry area.

Communion at MCCBR is open to all. We practice an open communion. You do not need to be a member of this church or any church to participate. Toward the close of the worship service, all are invited to receive a wafer (symbolizing the body of Christ given in love), dipped in grape juice (symbolizing God’s love poured out for us), and a brief prayer of blessing.  We also offer intercessory prayer for any in need. God’s welcome table is open to all who seek to love God and neighbor.

1st Wednesday Worship – Space for God: a mid-week casual service of contemporary worship music, a brief message of hope, and time for reflection and prayer.  This service is held on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary.
